Welcome to Swallownest Pre-School and Nursery
Swallownest Pre-School and Nursery provides an excellent education foundation for children aged 2-4 years, term time only. We offer a free play environment with a broad range of challenging and stimulating activities that promote children's development. Our aim is to support all children with all areas of their development through following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS provides a framework for children's learning and development from birth. We are committed to provide a happy, stimulating and secure environment for all our children. We aim to demonstrate that we positively value and respect all children regardless of their ethnic origin, race, culture, religion or ability. As a setting we actively promote British values including the fundamental values of democracy and being respectful and tolerant of those with different faiths or beliefs. These universal values will be endorsed within the early years curriculum and modelled by all within the setting. We aim to work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure children are at the core of our practice. Learning is child-led, allowing children to thrive whilst striving to achieve accelerated progress.
